SEASONED Filipina actress Susan Roces is coming home to Bacolod City to attend the centennial celebration of her high school alma mater.
Jesusa Purificacion Levy Sonora - Poe in real life, the Negrense veteran actress finished her secondary education at La Consolacion College - Bacolod in 1956.
She is expected to arrive between March 4 and 12 in line with the school's 100th year.
Roces is the widow of actor Fernando Poe and mother of Senator Grace Poe.
In a video message posted on Facebook page of the school, Roces said “our school is celebrating its centennial anniversary. So, all of us - students and graduates are being invited to join the week-long celebration.”
“I am looking forward to this wonderful reunion. I miss all of you. It would be nice to see each other again. Kit-anay kita (let's see each other),” she added.
A resident of Silay City, the actress would usually converse with the locals in Hiligaynon dialect like her last visit in Bacolod City to campaign for her daughter’s senatorial bid. (CNC)
