A MAN was shot dead by riding-in-tandem assassins in Barangay San Isidro, Talisay City on Friday morning, March 8.
Police identified the fatality as Jason Narrido, who succumbed to multiple gunshot wounds.
The shooting incident happened in front of San Isidro Elementary School.
Before it happened, Narrido brought his child to the school. He later went to a stall to buy a refreshment.
The culprits arrived on motorcycle. The gunman disembarked and approached Narrido, a resident of Sitio Tiago, San Isidro.
The gunman placed his arm on Narrido’s shoulder and they walked away. Afterwards, the culprit shot Narrido four times.
A female vendor, who witnessed the incident, said the motorcycle driver told her to back off so she would not be killed.
The gunman wore a jacket, face mask and a hat, while his driver wore a yellow helmet.
Police Staff Sergeant Glenn Besande, investigator, said the victim was hit in the head and body.
Four empty shells of unknown caliber were found in the crime scene.
Besande said they would check Narrido’s background after they found a sticker with the Philippine National Police logo attached to the victim’s motorcycle. (from DRT of Superbalita Cebu, KAL)
