THE El Tesoro Turrones showed its prowess in all three rounds to win the Alberto’s Pizza 11th Anniversary Invitational Bowling Tournament in a dominating fashion on Saturday, March 9, at the SM City Bowling Center.

El Tesoro Turrones scored 2,466 from rounds of 820, 870 and 776 in the fourth and final round to finish the team tournament with 10,220 points, sealing the title and the P20,000 cash purse.

The team composed of Jericho and Jomar Jumapao, Jaime and Dovie Sainz, Luke Bolongan and Micmic Miranda took the lead for good back in the first round and never wavered until the final round.

The E.O Bucoy Consultants, composed of players John Galindo, Docdoc Gothong, Brian Sy, Joshua Galarse and Joseph Yu put up scores of 871, 911 and 787 in the fourth round for a total score of 9,943 and finished at second place.

The San Remigio Beach Club settled for third place with 9,939. The team had Rey Velarde, Roland Bantilan, Ronan Barredo and senior bowlers Tony Ynoc, Noel Tanyu and Joe Chu.

The E.O Bucoy Consultants and San Remigio Beach Club won P15,000 and P10,000, respectively, for making it in the Top 3.

The Rich Banana Catsup finished at fourth place with 9,846 and was followed by Jepes Saver (9,646), Five Star (9,279), Cetba Ladies (9,275) and Cetba Juniors (7,918).

Meanwhile, Jomar and Cynthia Uybengkee of Cebu Tenpin Bowling Association (Cetba) Ladies won the highest individual score for Round 4 with 245 and 186, respectively, while the E.O Bucoy Consultants got the highest team single score of 911. (RSC)
