THE Hugpong ng Pagbabago (HnP) senatorial slate, composed of 13 candidates, will be arriving for their campaign sorties in Bacolod City on March 25.
Mayor Evelio Leonardia said on Monday, March 11, that Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio already promised that they will visit the city on March 25.
“As early as October, when Davao City Mayor Duterte came for the MassKara Festival, she already told me that it will be on March 25,” said Leonardia.
When Leonardia visited Davao City, Duterte-Carpio also mentioned the same date.
Leonardia and his Grupo Progreso party mates are also formalizing their alliance with HnP on March 25. GP is now coordinating with the HnP secretariat.
HnP senatorial candidates endorsed by Duterte-Carpio are Senators Sonny Angara, Cynthia Villar, Aquilino “Koko” Pimentel III and Joseph Victor “JV” Ejercito; Ilocos Norte Governor Imee Marcos; former presidential assistant Bong Go; former senators Jose “Jinggoy” Estrada and Bong Revilla; Deputy Speaker and Taguig City-Pateros 2nd district Rep. Pia Cayetano; former Philippine National Police chief director Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa; Maguindanao Rep. Zajid Mangudadatu; former presidential political adviser Francis Tolentino, and former broadcast journalist Jiggy Manicad. (MAP)
