ALL is set for the regional motorcross competition in Zamboanga City on Sunday.
The competition, dubbed as the Congressman Erico Basilio Fabian, will be held in the village of Boalan.
Fabian said more than 60 veteran big bike and novice riders from the different parts of the region and other parts of the country will see action in the motorcross competition.
The participants are from the provinces of Zamboanga Sibugay, Zamboanga del Norte, Zamboanga del Sur, Basilan, and as far as Dumaguete.
Fabian said the participants have started arriving since Thursday to familiarize themselves with the race tracks.
Fabian said the holding of the competition aimed to promote Zamboanga City through sports tourism, which “I had always been espousing ever since.”
Cash prizes and trophies await the winners in the team and individual competition. (Bong Garcia)
