Songwriters honor Women’s Month in upcoming gig at The Good Farm

Mary Anchit

IN HONOR of International Women’s Month, 22 Tango Records has brewed up a show featuring a fresh batch of storytellers and poets ready to take listeners on a spellbinding journey, accompanied by the sweet smell of coffee and cakes.

To be held at The Good Farm Café, the latest “Cuppa Folk” will feature artists Lourdes Maglinte, JRuss & DT, The Labrats and Mary Anchit, giving you songs that are drawn straight from the heart and played specially to feed your soul. Catch them on March 16, 4 p.m. at the JDN Square Building, fifth level, P. Remedio St., Mandaue City.

“Cuppa Folk” was established to provide musicians and supporters alike a safe haven to connect, collect and appreciate homegrown music. The record label feels that these songs are valuable, so conscious listening during the gig is encouraged from the listeners; thus, the #shhhhpolicy will be implemented so artists can share their stories without and distractions.
