THE upcoming Araw ng Dabaw will surely be star-studded once again. You can expect that both the Kapuso and Kapamilya stars, as well as some bands, will be around to celebrate with us.
This weekend, make sure to go out and enjoy the festivity. Be one with fellow Dabawenyos and thousands of tourists, local and foreign, in experiencing the 82nd anniversary of our city. Expect that each mall and other areas in the city, including the streets, will be filled with different events and shows.
Here are some of the must-watch events this weekend:
December Avenue
The five-member band famous for the song “Kung Di Rin Lang Ikaw” will be at Abreeza Mall Activity Center on March 15 at 6 p.m.
Following the show, which I presume would last for an hour, will be a meet and greet session with their fans.
So, be sure to catch them live as they sing their hits!
This Band
For sure, a number of you are familiar with the song “Kahit Ayaw Mo Na.” You could be singing it as well whenever you would hear it playing on the radio, right? Well, a lot of people do.
On March 17, at 6 p.m., the band behind this popular track will be in SM Lanang Premier, particularly at the Northwing Events Grounds.
Make sure to bring a friend or anyone close to you to enjoy some jamming this Sunday!
“Los Bastardos” cast
Dreaming of hunky dates this Araw ng Dabaw? You can have not only one but five!
Catch the lead stars of ABS-CBN’s afternoon drama “Los Bastardos” on March 16, at 4 p.m., at Almendras Gym.
Brings some friends who can chant with you for Jake Cuenca, Albie Casiño, Marco Gumabao, Joseph Marco and Joshua Colet.
“Kara Mia” cast
GMA Network is also bringing here the cast of “Kara Mia.” Young stars Barbie Forteza and Mika dela Cruz will be joined by their on-screen partners Jak Roberto and Paul Salas.
They will be at SM City Davao’s The Annex Event Center on March 16, at 4 p.m., for the Kapuso Mall Show.
“Toda One I Love” cast
Joining the “Kara Mia” cast in the Kapuso Mall Show are the stars of “Toda One I Love.”
Kylie Padilla, David Licauco and Joel Palencia will surely give a fun show for the Dabawenyo fans.
Melai Cantiveros-Francisco
Kapamily host and actress Melai Cantiveros-Francisco will be at Gaisano Grand Citygate Mall in Buhangin for the Pigeon Breastfeeding is Best Feeding campaign.
She will meet and greet her Dabawenyo followers on March 17 at 1:00 p.m.
Apart from these celebrities, for sure, there would be some stars who will likewise join the Floral Float Parade, just like in the past celebrations.
