Sungduan: 1st Int’l Manitoba Grand Cañao

CORDILLERANS around the globe are enjoined to witness and be part of the First International Grand Cañao in Winnepeg, Manitoba, Canada.

Hosted and organized by the Bibak Association of Manitoba, the event to be held on July 6 to 7 this year will feature the culture and tradition of the different provinces of the entire Cordillera with the cultural presentation as one of the highlights of the upcoming event.

Bibak Association of Manitoba president Virginia Gayot said this is the first time for them to open their annual event to Cordillerans outside Canada as one new innovation for their group’s 25th year anniversary.

Dubbed “Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow,” the Grand Cañao will be held at the Victoria Inn Hotel and Convention Center at Wellington Avenue, Winnepeg, Manitoba.

“It will be a day to feature all the Cordilleran cultural dances and traditions,” Gayot said.

Interested participants for the silver anniversary occasion should first register. Early bird registration is only until April 30 while late registration is until June 15.

For details, you may get in touch with president Gayot by sending message through email: vmpgayot@outlook.com or call cell number 1-204-960-6887.

This will be one great opportunity to see in person how Cordillerans in Canada present the best of the best of the region and appreciate how they value their cultural heritage even if they are now living in a different nation.
