THE Cebu Community Multipurpose Cooperative (CCMPC), formerly the Cebu City Medical Center Employees Multi-Purpose Cooperative, will be holding its 25th General Assembly at 5 p.m. Saturday, March 16.
The event carries the theme “Geared Towards A Brighter Future.”
It will be held at the Summit Galleria Cebu in North Reclamation Area, Cebu City.
CCMPC will celebrate its silver jubilee during the general assembly and it will bare its new direction, dubbed as Asenso CCMPC 2024.
It will also honor its top and long-time cooperators, employees and former leaders who contributed in the cooperative’s growth.
During the assembly, a new set of officers will be elected.
All members of the cooperative who will attend the assembly may have a chance to win free domestic destination trips and a cash prize of P25,000 during the raffles.
CCMPC started out as a canteen, which was put up by the hospital employees. It has now become one of the dynamic, open-type cooperatives in Cebu.
With its operations spanning more than two decades, CCMPC has been charting a different course by helping more people through its expansion as a community cooperative.
Diversify
Bullish about diversifying its businesses, CCMPC is looking at investing in quasi-banking, infrastructure, real property acquisition and general merchandise in a bid to bolster its revenue for its membership.
The cooperative has more than 300 members from all over Cebu. It had forged partnerships for life insurance and health services.
