POLICE seized explosives and suspected shabu from three fugitives who were arrested in a law enforcement operation on Thursday, March 14.
The Zamboanga City Police Office (ZCPO) identified the arrested fugitives as Hadji Makdal Jahari; Akraja Jahari, 25; and, Alih kamlon Jahari, all of Omar Drive in the village of Arena Blanco, Zamboanga City.
The three had a standing arrest warrant for the crime of murder. No bail was recommended.
Police served the warrant of arrest against the three fugitives at around 6:30 a.m. Thursday in the village of Arena Blanco.
Recovered from them were a rifle grenade, one bottle of fish bomb containing ammonium nitrate and two heat-sealed plastic sachets of suspected shabu, or methamphetamine hydrochloride.
Police said the three men will face additional charges for illegal possession of explosives and illegal drugs.
They are temporarily detained at the ZCPO headquarters for proper disposition. (Bong Garcia/SunStar Philippines)
