‘Miss You Like Crazy’ on big screens soon

KAPAMILYA love team Bea Alonzo-John Lloyd Cruz is all set to grace the big screen and make their fans fall in love again in the post-Valentine offering of Star Cinema "Miss You Like Crazy."

After their two weeks shoot in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, which served as a beautiful backdrop to most of the movie’s romantic highlights, the biggest romantic reunion is set hit theater's this February 24.

The two were able to shoot some scenes in the city's famous landmark the Petronas Tower that symbolizes the perfect picture of happiness in love and companionship on the lead characters in the movie.

Both Lloydie and Bea were able to appreciate the prominent landmark through its best angle in Titiwangsa Park.

“Pag tamang lugar at pagkakataon para sa inyong dalawa, tingin ko kahit nasaang parte ka pa ng mundo naroron, kahit ano’ng klaseng lugar pa yan, gaganda,” he said.

The tandem's fan base is also a testament to the love their supporters showered into them whether it’s in Manila or in Malaysia.

Director Cathy Garcia-Molina said they were unexpectedly welcomed by LaBers, or Lloydie and Bea Lovers, when their arrived in Malaysia.

“We were surprised when we got to the Kuala Lumpur airport, may banner ang Miss You Like Crazy! Natuwa kami kasi may suot na tudong, mga Malaysians ang fans nila JL at Bea! We’re so happy kasi sa Malaysia hindi uso ang tinitilian ang mga artista. Sina John Lloyd at Bea natin, natilian sa Malaysia,” she said.

The two has a solid fan base in Malaysia.

"Magugulat ka kasi marunong silang mag-Tagalog (You will be surprise because they know how to speak Tagaloh),” Lloydie added. "Kapapanood daw nila ng mga teleserye natin. Very affectionate sila.”

Direk Cathy said even Hans Isaac, a famous Malaysian actor who is also part of the Star Cinema movie, got screams from the local fans.

According to the director, everyone should look out for the actor's portrayal of his character in the movie because he is really good and very natural.

The team, composed of only 12 people, shot the entire Malaysia part with three roles/workloads rolled into one person.

Though it was hard, Direk Cathy lauded her staff and crew for the support and love they have shown to the movie. She added that no one ever complain through the course of filming.
