BELIEVING and appreciating the beauty and power of an Eagle proudly soaring in the sky had only inspired Kuya Angel Melgar of the Mahayahay Hills Eagles Club to initiate the Search for 2019 Miss Philippine Eagles under the wings of the Northern Mindanao Region (NMR-1) of the Fraternal order of Eagles.

“We believe that NMR-1 Eagles can produce a genuine package of beauty and talent. And no less than President Duterte who is also an Eagle at heart has reserved a slot for us come the national final of a nation-wide beauty contest wherein a million-peso cash prizes will be at stake,” said Melgar during the launching of the ambitious event at CDO Rotunda on February 16, and again, on the screening day for the pageant on March 2 at the Golden Stallion Suites in Barangay Nazareth.

NMR-1 Governor Jimmy Caiña Sr. wholeheartedly supports the program, saying initiating a big event like this is one way to test the unity and the mettle of the mighty Eagles family.

“We’re all here for unity and camaraderie. And so, together we will fly,” added Kuya Jessie Co.

And so today, March 16 in nearby Tagoloan town in time of the NMR-1 Eagles Governor’s Night the first canvassing for the 2019 Miss Philippine Eagles will be held at Paulas Hotel.

Over a dozen beauty contestants from the diffent Eagles club in Region 1 will be presented at Paulas Hotel right after the culmination of the afternoon sports activities at Tagoloan Dome, according to NMR-1 facilitator Kuya Eric Daabay.
