A glorious evening discovering the flavor of wine; fans and connoisseurs were incredibly thrilled to enjoy Anzani’s featured vineyard partner, Enio Ottaviani. The event took place at the Anzani Lounge Bar, Cebu City.

There were seven featured wines with a range chosen to suit all palates: the fresh and harmonious with a subtle acidulous vein Sinfonia Brut, the persistent Mada, the dry and harmonious 928, the fruity over spicy Merlot, the soft and graceful Clemente Primo, the dry, full-bodied and pleasantly harmonious Caciara, and the full and warm with tannin in development Filare 15.

Based in Emilia Romagna, in Sant’Andrea in Casale (Rimini), Italy—on a family estate passed on from generation to generation—the current makers Davide, Milena, Marco and Massimo dedicate their hard work solely to their grandfather, Enio Ottaviani.

“Our family grew up among bunches of grapes and authentic Romagna Places. We make wine for friends because sharing wine is a priceless value and wine is the maximum expression of joy at the table. We are a close-knit team and together with our friends, in this wonderful adventure, we make a great family.”

For a wine and cheese acumen, the official launch of the Cheese & Cheese website, distribution and social media shop for classic dairy and yogurt lovers was also done. Indulging in a range of flavors, the Lebanese artisanal selection included an assortment of yogurts as well as hard and soft cheeses. Based in Cebu City, one may order online from Honestbee or find the products at EchoStore in Streetscape, Banilad, Cebu City.

“The goal was to produce a website that promotes yogurt as a nutritious and versatile ingredient for flavorful meals,” said Rayan Abi Chedid, product manager of Cheese & Cheese. Sales manager Elias Naime said: “We consider it very important that the company continues to build its brand as a fun, healthy and a more delicious way to enjoy yogurt.”

Lorna Bondoc, digital marketing consultant, then continued: “A strong media presence emerged as a need in order to create awareness and engagement among our health-conscious customers. Ryan and Elias wanted to connect with their followers through a channel that they enjoy using the most. I’m confident that we hit the mark.”

Completing the evening was a showcase of international artist and printmaker Charles Lathi’s most recent works. Attempting bold and personal expressions, he always captivated the nexus of art and community, and was at the forefront of a number of nascent creative mediums including performance, graffiti and multimedia art.

“My works are moments of time captured in paint; an index of moods and impressions. Looking at the world through screens, I find nothing that is fixed, nothing that is static. Points of light are revealed, fragments of figuration, a landscape of dream-impressions, free-flowing and chimerical. The viewer is invited to become enmeshed in these discontinuous experiences, to synthesize them through the lens of painting. Here are a series of ‘yes’, ‘nos’ and ‘maybes’ that perhaps contain a notion or meaning just beyond our grasp and yet fully within it, an amplification of an internal dynamic that varies with each perceiver.”

Congratulations on the official unveiling of Enio Ottaviani wines, Cheese & Cheese and the most recent Charles Lahti collection!
