“Amo nalang gitubos ang obligasyon sa Capitol. Kay dili mi makatugot nga daug-daugon lang ni Vice Governor Magpale ang among mga barangay workers tungod kay mas gituman nila ang ilang trabaho sama sa measles vaccination kaysa sa mo-attend ug political rally,” dason sa pamahayag ni Mayor Frasco.
Tungod niini, ang mayor nagkanayon nga ang barangay tanods, health workers, lupong tagapamayapa ug ubang trabahante nga naapektuhan mahimong mopasaka og legal nga aksiyon batok kang Vice Gov. Magpale tungod sa pagdumili sa pagluwat sa incentives, matod pa, “immediate liquidation” ang gikinahanglan sa dili pa sila makapadayon sa ubang kalungsoran.

“And yet, after their distribution rally in Liloan, Magpale and Davide proceeded to conduct distribution in Consolacion and Compostela on the same day. If the alleged prerequisite of a full liquidation per town is true, how then could they have proceeded to 2 other towns without having conducted liquidation immediately prior? The fact remains: there is an annual budget or allocation for the honorarium of ALL barangay workers. The money is there. COA Rules say it should and can be paid until March 20. Why does Magpale refuse to pay the barangay workers of Liloan who were doing simply doing their duty?,” dugang pamahayag.
Gihimakak ni Mayor Frasco ang mga alegasyon ni Magpale nga “politicking ” ug giingong nakadawat siya og suwat bahin sa distribution sa honoraria.
“Assuming for the sake of argument that I received the letter, this still does not does not erase the fact that we have an ongoing measles vaccination for kids in all barangays, not to mention all our other ongoing health and peace and order programs which our barangay workers are duty bound to carry out. The measles epidemic poses a clear and prsent danger to the public, especially our young. Who in their right upstanding non-politicking minds would knowingly prioritize a political rally over protecting the lives of our children?” pagpasabot ni Mayor Frasco. (RRM, PR)
