BACOLOD City Police Office (BCPO) Director Henry Biñas on Monday, March 18, ordered the Women and Children Protection Desk (WCPD) to conduct a thorough investigation on the alleged rape complaint of a 16-year-old girl in the city.
Biñas said the WCPD was already tasked to assist the victim and to gather further information to solve the case.
“We will assist the victim in filing the charges against the perpetrators,” he said.
Last week, the victim sought the assistance of Police Station 9 after she was allegedly raped by her boyfriend and two other suspects.
Investigation showed that the victim had drinks with her boyfriend and two other men, after which, the men brought her to a room where she was sexually assaulted.
The three suspects, whose names are being withheld by the police, were arrested in a follow-up operation by police operatives.
Biñas said he is still waiting for the final report of the WCPD and Police Station 9. (MAP)
