3 nabbed, P42,000 ‘shabu’ seized

THREE people, including a housewife, were arrested while some P42,000 worth of suspected shabu were seized in two separate anti-drug operations in Zamboanga City.

The Zamboanga City Police Office (ZCPO) identified the arrested suspects as Wilson Aram, 32, and his wife, Mariam, and Nasser Ajahum, 36. They are currently detained.

Police said Wilson and Mariam yielded some P32,000 worth of suspected shabu packed in one medium and one small heat-sealed plastic sachets when arrested in a drug bust around 1:55 a.m. Tuesday, March 19, in the village of Zambowood.

Also confiscated from them were P500 marked money consisting of five P100 bills.

Ajahum, meanwhile, was arrested in a drug bust around 8:10 p.m. Monday at Zone 5 in the village of Tulungatung.

Police said they confiscated from Ajahum some P10,000 worth of suspected shabu packed in seven heat-sealed plastic sachets and P300 marked money comprising of three P100 bills. (Bong Garcia)
