Oro’s frisbee Ninja team improves in Boracay tilt

CAGAYAN de Oro City’s Ninja Team made waves in the 2019 Boracay Open, an ultimate beach Frisbee tournament held from March 1-3, in Boracay.

Joining the event since 2015, Ninja team improved its way to seventh place in the international rankings which is the team's highest place thus far.

“We have improved our way and it is such a big leap. Slowly, we will gain more experience,” said Aldrich Barba, one of the Ninja team members.

The international Frisbee tourney drew a total of 30 teams, 16 of them from foreign countries such as Australia, China, Taiwan and the United States of America.

Aside from Barba, the team is composed of Jesse Crisanto Salon, Summerboy, Dino Valdevilla, Franz Urich Bonotan, Raffy James Cabanes, Mariel Escaño, Nelson Callo, team captain Aran Jamaca and the team’s physical therapist Danielle Pizarro.

The team had also American imports Mauricio Bell’Albero and Shenneth Oi and Ingeborg Van Schlkwly of South Korea.
