MAYOR Edgardo Pamintuan and Vice Mayor Bryan Matthew Nepomuceno led the recognition of 192 loyalty service awardees during a ceremony held Monday, March 18, at the Angeles City Legislative Hall.

The program aims to give appreciation and recognition to the longest-serving employees of the local government for their unceasing services to the city and its people. The awardees were divided into three categories depending on the number of years that they served in the city.

These categories are bronze, silver and gold awardees. Bronze awardees are those who served for 10-15 years. Silver awardees are employees who served for 20-25 years while gold awardees are those who served for 30 years and above and are continuously serving the city.

This year, the city government awarded 70 bronze awardees, 66 silver awardees and 55 gold awardees. Each awardee was given a certificate, loyalty pins and cash incentives.

Gloria Rojas of City Assessor’s Office was recognized as the longest-serving employee for having served for 45 years and counting in the government.

According to City Human Resource and Management Officer Head Rowena D. Yambao, the awarding is part of the city’s Programs on Awards and Incentives for Service Excellence (Praise) implemented by the CHRMO.

For his part, Pamintuan expressed his gratitude to the city’s loyal government employees.

“I would like to express my deepest gratitude to all of you who contributed a lot of effort to the success that our city is achieving now. If not because of you, we wouldn’t reach such milestone. I hope that we would continue to support each other for the many more success to come,” said Pamintuan.

Present also during the ceremony were councilors Joseph “PG” Ponce and Carmelo Lazatin Jr, City Administrator Dennis Albert Pamintuan, and AGENDA President Aiza Santos. (PR/With reports from Zyrell Ramos, HAU intern)
