POLICE operatives arrested two of the most wanted persons in Zamboanga del Sur in separate law enforcement operations, an official said Friday, March 22.
Police Major Helen Galvez, Police Regional Office-Zamboanga Peninsula information officer, identified the arrested as Romnick Cerera, 24 and Kadafi Olama, 32.
Galvez said Cerera was arrested after being served a warrant around 5 a.m. Friday at Purok 5 in Limonan village, San Miguel town, Zamboanga del Sur.
She said Cerera has standing warrant of arrest for the crime of attempted murder with P120,000 recommended bail issued by the court of San Miguel. He is listed as the Top 9 most wanted person of this town.
The police official said Olama was arrested around 7 a.m. Friday in Poblacion 2 village, Parang, Maguindanao.
She said Olama is listed as the Top 9 most wanted person in Labangan, Zamboanga del Sur.
Galvez added that Olama has standing warrant of arrest issued by the court of Pagadian City dated July 31, 2017 for the crime of attempted murder in relation to Republic Act 7610 otherwise known as the Special Protection of Children against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act.
She said the court has set P120,000 recommended bail for Olama’s temporary liberty while his case is being heard by the court. (SunStar Philippines)
