THE tandem of Arthur Galendez and Edmund Cambaliza romped away with the Datba weekly doubles tournament title at SM Lanang Premier recently.
Galendez rolled 577 pins and Cambaliza hit 588 pinfalls for a total of 1,165 after three games. The pair split the P2,000 champion’s prize.
Ramsey Tancontian and Joshua Disuacido, meanwhile, combined for 1,161 pinfalls to grab the runner-up honors of the event organized by Davao Tenpin Bowlers Association (Datba).
Tancontian garnered 559 pinfalls while Disuacido scored 602 to pocket P1,200.
A total of 12 pairs competed in the doubles competition.
The Datba weekly individual qualifying tournament was set to resume as of Saturday.
