Shuttle buses for LET takers

FOUR Davao Metro Shuttle buses will be deployed in Tagum City, Carmen, and Panabo City to shuttle Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) exam takers Sunday, March 24, in Davao City.

In partnership with Davao Metro Shuttle Bus Liner, Inc. and the City Government of Davao, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) bared in a press release that they will be deploying two buses in Tagum City with pick-up point in Landbank Tagum, Daang Maharlika Highway corner Apokon Road.

They will also deploy one bus in Carmen to pick the exam takers in front of Carmen Municipal Hall, Daang Maharlika Highway. Another bus will be deployed in Panabo City specifically below the Panabo Overpass, near Maryknoll College of Panabo, Daang Maharlika Highway.

All four buses will depart sites at 3:30 a.m. and will drop off exam takers at Davao City Hall, San Pedro St.

PRC also advised the takers, especially those living north of Davao City and the northern neighboring cities and municipalities, to leave their houses early as there would be road closures due to the scheduled Ironman 70.3 International Triathlon Event.

“Owing to the road closures, heavy traffic is expected in all major thoroughfares, thus, all examinees are advised to leave their houses/point of origin as early as possible in order to be at the examination venue by 6:30 a.m. on March 24, 2019,” PRC said in a press release.

In the same way, room watchers, floor supervisors, and supply aides are advised to be in their respective school and room assignments at 5:30 a.m. They are also advised to proceed to the PRC Regional Office at Juna Subd., Matina, Davao City at 5 a.m.

From 3 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Azuela Cove, R. Castillo, Davao City to Tagum City roads are close today, March 24.

The southbound lane which is from Tagum City going to Azuela Cove, R. Castillo, Davao City has scheduled closure from 3 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. F. Torres St. to Azuela Cove while R. Castillo is closed from 3 a.m to 3:30 p.m.
