Kapamilya actress Angel Locsin denied rumors that she is dating Parokya ni Edgar lead vocalist Chito Miranda.
During a television interview, Angel said that they are just good friends and have the same set of peers.
“I have repeatedly posted there (in Twitter), explaining that there’s no courtship because we’re just friends,” she said in Tagalog.
Angel also denied rumors that she did not allow Efren Penaflorida to court her because of Chito.
Efren, in his interview with the King of Talk Boy Abunda in his Saturday night show The Bottomline, said that he has been praying for Angel since he was 23.
He was also very vocal that he wanted to court her. In an earlier interview, Angel said that Efren talked to her father to tell him that he has only good intentions with his daughter.
On her ex-boyfriend Luis Manzano, Angel said that he is still very persistent in showing her that he wants to make things stay the way they are.
“ I am not dating anyone right now. We see each other and in fairness to him (i.e. Luis), he’s really making up for everything, though there are no expectations at all. He’s always in the house,” she said.
As for Luis, he said: “I am trying to win her back.”
In a separate television interview with the mother of Luis, Batangas Gov. Vilma Santos, she said: “They are friends. I don’t usually meddle with my son’s love life. The important thing for me is that they stay as good friends and the respect should always be between them.” (Sunnex/Glaiza Jarloc)
