GIPAHINUNGOD ni Misamis Oriental Governor “Bambi” Emano ang iyang bag-ong nadawat nga award ngadto sa katawhan sa lalawigan sa Misamis Oriental.
Niadtong Marso 22, gidawat ni Governor Bambi ang Wind Vane Award 2019 nga mao ang pinakataas nga pasidungog nga ihatag matag tuig sa Department of Science and Technology (DOST) - Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).
Kini alayon sa ilang pagsaulog sa ika-154 nga national ug ika-69 nga World Metreological Day nga gipahigayon sa Pagasa Science Garden, Agham Road, Diliman Quezon City, nga adunay tema, “The Sun, the Earth and the weather.”
Si Governor Emano napasidunggan niini tungod kay dako kini og kabahin sa katukoran sa planetarium sa dakbayan sa El Salvador, Misamis Oreintal.
Gipaabot ni Emano nga dili lang alang kaniya ang nadawat nga bag-ong pasidungog apan alang sa katawhan sa Misamis Oriental kon hain ang katukoran sa planetarium dako og tabang dili lang sa edukasyon apan ekonomikanhon nga kalamboan sa lalawigan.
Gipasalamatan niini og dako ang DOST-Pagasa sa paghuna-huna ug pagbubo og pundo sa lalawigan sa Misamis Oriental aron matukod ang planetarium.
“Thank you very much to DOST-Pagasa family. You know when I came here today, thinking that they were giving me a Wind Vane Award, in fact, it should have been Misamis Oriental or DOST-Pagasa,” matud ni Emano.
“When you decided to put the planetarium in Misamis Oriental, you did not give only our children education as I have said and told them you give us economic activity, I can always imagine and see that 3, 5 to 10 years from now all the student within the island of Mindanao will come to Misamis Oriental to visit the planetarium,” matud niini sa iyang speech atol sa pagdawat.
Iya sab gipasalamatan og dako si lawyer Neil Pacan, ang Provincial Legal Officer, nga maoy naningkamot sa higsotanang legal mabutang lang sa probinsya ang katukoran sa planetarium.
“With the major and full help that my lawyer gave, Atty. Neil Pacana who has to come to Manila and went to Regional Office just to have the program and the planetarium land that the problem status, then we will be able to do it,” dugang niini.
Gipaabot sab ni Governor Emano nga ang katukoran niini dako kasulbaran sa kabus sa lalawigan.
“I told them you know what Pagasa and DOST lead to MisOr, you give my poor people a future, you give my poor people hope, you give my poor people history,” matud ni Emano.
Buot sab ni Emano nga ipaabot nga taliwala paman nga dili na siya ang naa sa posisyon dili siya makalimtan sa katawhan nga usa sa mihatag kasaysayan sa lalawigan.
“One day even when we are not anymore working in the field that we are working right now people will remember us of what we have given to them when I speak and when I say it has never been Bambi Emano as I have said thanking you as governor it's an always be the 424 barangay of the province and the two cities of Misamis Oriental,” matud sa gobernador.
