REAL estate giant Camella Communities continues to soar high in Davao City as it gears for the start of the construction of its second building in its prime condominium development in the entire Mindanao, Camella Northpoint.
"The response of the market has been very positive with Camella Northpoint. We will start building it this year and it will be completed around the same time in 2011," Marlon Escalicas, Camella Communities-Davao, told Sun.Star Davao in an interview Wednesday afternoon.
The second building has been dubbed as Birmingham is already 40 percent sold out.
The first building of the condominium complex, which has already been sold out, is named Manchester and is expected to be completed by year-end.

The design of the commercial strip is already in the drawing board and will be started by middle of the year.
Also under construction is the P15 million clubhouse complex complete with facilities such as a fitness center, swimming pool, function halls, cabanas, and gardens.
"This will be completed by the 3rd quarter of the year and it will be equipped with wireless fidelity for internet access," Escalicas said.
The Villar-owned company invested over P2 million worth of all-weather Caribbean pine trees in the property development.
"It is our thrust to develop something unique, nature friendly and world class that Davaoenos can boast about," Escalicas said.
