FIVE more loose firearms were surrendered to the military in Tamparang, Lanao del Sur on Tuesday, March 26.

Lieutenant Colonel Edgar Allan Villanueva, commander of the Army’s 49th Infantry Battalion, said the following firearms were surrendered around 10:30 a.m. Tuesday: one M-14 rifle; one M-16 Armalite rifle; and three caliber .45 pistols.

The five loose firearms were surrendered a day after 11 assorted unlicensed guns were surrendered to Villanueva in Taraka, Lanao del Sur.

Those that were surrendered on Monday were one caliber .50 Barrett sniper rifle, one M-16 Armalite, one AR-15 semi-automatic rifle, one 12-gauge shotgun and seven handguns.
