MEDIA personalities and VIPs flocked together for the advance screening of Dumbo on March 24, 2019 at SM Lanang Premier. Dumbo is a classic story of a young elephant with oversized ears which enable him to fly.
Dumbo’s special gift helps save a circus owned by the ringmaster, Max Medici, played by Danny de Vito. After struggling to remain relevant amid shifting public tastes and criticism, Medici almost decided to draw the curtain, until it gets acquired by V. A. Vandevere, played by Michael Keaton, a ruthless, greedy entrepreneur who milks money out of Dumbo.
Dumbo and his friends discover V. A. Vandevere’s dark secrets that they plotted a great escape to reunite Dumbo with his mother.
The movie also stars actor Colin Farrell (Holt Farrier) and his children Milly (Nico Parker) and Joe (Finley Hobbins) and actress Eva Green, playing as Colette Marchant, a French trapeze artist who performs at the circus who befriends Dumbo.
This sweet and fantastical movie is another Tim Burton. Dumbo’s tale will surely give the entire family a wonderful time as it is a beautiful story laced with so much heart into it.
