SINCE it started commercial operations in late 2014, Suntrust Properties Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Megaworld Corporation, has been on a full swing when it comes to selling its products and building its projects.
With the still real estate competition in Davao City, the firm has cemented its place here as an unstoppable real estate company.
The level of progress the company experienced in the last three years is quite evident as sales have been increasing.
Jerry Rubis, Suntrust Properties first vice president, said after its first year of operations, sales reached P1.2 billion. Then after its second year, it hit P1.7 billion. After the third year, sales surged to P2.7 billion.
Rubis pointed out that Lakeshore Drive has been among the top performing Suntrust projects in the country.
Atty. Harrison Paltongan, president of Suntrust Properties, said they attribute the success of their project in Davao City to the efforts of their agents and by providing them the resources they need to sell the projects.
He also attributed the success of Lakeshore Drive to the development of the Davao Park District, an 11-hectare township project of Megaworld in Lanang, Davao City.
Paltongan noted how the Davao Finance Center, an office tower at the township, is already completed and how they are on track with the construction of Lakeshore Drive.
To keep their momentum, the company is pouring in financial resources that will be utilized by their agents and sellers to market Lakeshore Drive.
“The company has earmarked a budget [for marketing]... We are giving almost a million pesos [worth] of marketing fund,” Rubis said, adding that Suntrustees, their sellers and agents, must use this fund wisely.
He added, “That fund is meant to keep you growing, to help you become unstoppable.”
Rubis said they hope with the added resources, they will be able to see Davao-based agents and sellers growing to become leaders.
“Tagum and Davao are unstoppable because you have learned the trade secret of being a successful entrepreneur in sales,” he said.
Meanwhile, Paltongan, in his inspirational message, encouraged Suntrustees to never stop chasing their dreams.
“We are reminding all of our sellers to not stop chasing their dreams. If ever they think they are failing, they should look at all these failures as the part of the process for them to learn to do better,” he said.
Suntrust has been unstoppable when it began, it will continue to be unstoppable in the coming years.
