Jehovah’s Witnesses hold assembly in Bataan

ORANI, BATAAN — Some 3,000 Jehovah’s Witnesses from Pampanga Circuit No.1 held their Assembly in Orani, Bataan on February 20 and 21.

The program was presented in Tagalog dialect with the theme dubbed as “Ingatan ang inyong espiritwalidad,” which was based on several passages of the Bible, including Romans 8:5 and Jude 17-19.

The opening part on Saturday morning dealt with the subject “Kung Bakit Mahalaga ang Ating Espirituwalidad.” The morning session ended with the talk regarding Dedication and Baptism—when local residents who studied these and other Bible topics in detail publicly symbolized their dedication to God during the baptism ceremony.

On Saturday afternoon, a large portion of the program focused on a symposium entitled: “Ingatan ang Inyong Espirituwalidad Mula sa mga Panganib.”

The second symposium on Sunday morning entitled “Magtuon ng Pansin sa Espirituwal na mga Gawain,” was presented in three parts.

On Sunday afternoon, the public discourse, entitled “Manatiling Malusog sa Espirituwal sa Isang May-sakit na Sanlibutan,” was delivered by the District Overseer, Brother Rodolfo Lavaro.

Witnesses anticipated an excellent turnout for the event. They looked forward to welcoming many non-Witnesses to the Circuit Assembly and believed that all who attended benefited from the practical and timely information presented. (Fred M. Roxas)
