March favorites

March comes to an end this weekend (!) so it’s time for monthly favorites:

Sunnies Face Fluffmatte lipstick

The hype is so real about this. I’m a little late on the Fluffmatte trend, but this month I’ve gotten officially hooked. I received Major at the Sunnies Mega Store opening earlier this month, and loved it so much I bought Girl Crush and love that one, too. If you enjoy using lipstick, it’s practically guaranteed you’ll enjoy Fluffmatte.

Rimmel Lasting Finish 25 Hour Foundation

This is now repackaged in a glass bottle with a red cap, which seems to have poor reviews online. I have the older version in this black tube, and I’ve been wearing it almost everyday this month. It works well for me, from rainy holidays in Hong Kong to my job here which requires spending time at a hot, dusty construction site. It’s “my skin but better” foundation that doesn’t cake or slide off.

Benefit Posietint

Because it’s been hot, my face gets redder than usual, but mostly just on the sides of my nose. With this redness, vibrant red or pink cheek stains are a bit much on work days, so I’ve been reaching for Posietint, which is a sheerer pink that doesn’t make me look sunburned.

Skinfood Honey Moisture Gel

It’s officially summer now, so most nights, I reach for lighter moisturizers except when my skin feels dry or really tired. Everyone swears by aloe gel, but I’ve been using this honey gel that’s so plumping and comforting, yet light on the skin. It comes in a 300ml tub so it will last for ages; it can be used on both face and body.
