I KNOW many of you know how much I love Spark Coffee & Crafts. Since they opened in 2017, I have been a regular here.

Spark Coffee & Crafts is being operated by five cousins -- Lawrence Galang, Jimmu Yoshida, Karina Cadiogan, Katrina Munar, and Kenji Caday -- who have a penchant for coffee and arts and crafts.

I just loved how the coffee shop progressed in the last two years. From the small space they had at Paseo Uno in Marfori, they have moved to a much bigger space right in front of the same commercial building. This time they are able to accommodate more clients. Formerly a small corner, their arts and crafts corner is much bigger now offering more products, including those made by small businesses in Davao City.

The new location also has a function room that could cater to meetings for 15 individuals. Monthly, arts and crafts workshops are also being held here.

They also now have more offerings on the menu that you can choose from.

A couple of weeks back, members of the Davao media and Davao Digital Influencers tasted some of the food the cafe has to offer.

Spark Coffee + Craft served Loco Moco, Chicken Parmigiana, Spark Sandwich, Chicken Fajitas, Fish and Fries, Lasagna, and Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Waffles. I just love the food here. Therefore, I won’t be shy to say that I enjoyed every single food they served during the food tasting.

Loco Moco (P180) is a dish of two mini burger patties with fried egg and mushroom gravy, served with rice and a side salad. This is among my favorite rice dish here at Spark Coffee & Craft. I think the burger patties were flavorful and I simply love the gravy.

Chicken Parmigiana (P190) is breaded chicken with cheese and marinara sauce, served with rice and salad.

Spark Sandwich (P250) is beef tenderloin with caramelized onions, cheese, fried egg, and their special sauce. This was one of the first dishes I ordered here when they opened. I love everything about this sandwich as is definitely a personal favorite.

The Chicken Fajitas (P160) is an open sandwich with spiced chicken, cheese, mixed veggies and salsa on the side. This was the first time I had this dish and definitely enjoyed it. I just love the spiciness of the chicken.

Fish and Fries (P150) is a simple appetizer that you and your friends can enjoy. It is fried beer-battered fish with tartar sauce and fries on the side.

Their Lasagna (P190) is hands down my favorite pasta dish at Spark Coffee & Craft. I just love how creamy, meaty, and cheesy their lasagna is.

Aglio Olio (P140) is their olive oil-based spaghetti with garlic, parsley, black olives, and parmesan. Yum!

Lastly, Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Waffles. My all-time favorite dish here. I just love the balance of sweet and savory of this dish. The bacon, egg, cheese, waffles, and syrup complemented one another.

Spark Coffee & Craft also served us their Iced Caramel Macchiato, White Mocha Macadamia Frappe, Hazelnut Latte, Matcha Smoothie, Cucumber Lime, and Fresh Lemonade.
