Y-Speak: Setting limits

SOME of us are guilty with playing online mobile games for long periods of time.

Whether you are kid or an adult, there is an online mobile game that you would enjoy.

Just like many of you, I also enjoy online mobile games. However, I make it a point to limit my time and not get addicted to it. By doing this, I am able to do other things to allow me to be productive.

At present, online games are not merely just that. Some of these online games were so popular that tournaments were created for it. These tournaments became an avenue for players to earn additional income.

Online games also allowed some to develop their leadership. In some games, you have to lead a team to reach you goal.

However, too much online mobile games can affect one’s education and health.

Playing can distract students from their studies since they are more focused with these games.

Playing long hours on your phones can also tire your eyes and may damage them.

It is good to reward yourself every now and then. You can play these online mobile games to relieve stress in doing homework or research.

Once in a while, I play online games as a reward to myself after working so hard. However, I also remind myself to set limits.

By setting limits I am able to protect my health and become productive. (Jan Mariel B. Morcillos, Usep intern)
