ANTI-NARCOTICS agents arrested four suspected drug personalities in separate sting operations in Cagayan de Oro City and Misamis Oriental over the weekend.
Arrested were Murphy Sarabi, 36, resident of Sta. Catalina, Zamboanga City; John Patrick Quinitio, 24, Mark Kevin Sabacajan, 26, both residents of El Salvador City; and Rueben Ancajas Jr.,24, of Opol Citi Homes.
Members of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in Northern Mindanao arrested Sarabi in a buy-bust operation inside a dormitory on Yacapin-Velez streets in Cagayan de Oro City.
Authorities seized around P170,000 worth of suspected shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride) placed in eight transparent sachets and drug paraphernalia.
The three other drug suspects were nabbed in another drug bust in Barangay Bulua, this city.
PDEA agents confiscated nearly P7,000 worth of dried marijuana leaves from the three suspects. Also seized were 13 sachets of suspected shabu.
All suspects are now detained at the jail facility of PDEA-Northern Mindanao and are facing various drug charges. (Alwen Saliring)
