Mexico town has new building for alternative learners

MEXICO town, Pampanga now has a new school building devoted to the needs of students under the Alternative Learning System (ALS).

The new Mexico South District Alternative Learning System Center is located in Barangay Santo Cristo.

The two-story structure was made possible through the effort of the Local Government of Mexico though its Local School Board (LSB) headed by Mayor Teddy Tumang together with the municipal council members led by the Vice Mayor Jonathan Pangan.

The building is now waiting to be occupied and used by its prospective beneficiaries. The said building will be utilized for of out of school youth (OSY) aged 12-29 and out of school adults (OSA) aged 29 and up.

The Mexico South District ALS Center is located inside Mexico Elementary School and can accommodate up to 150 students.

The local government and the local school board of Mexico encourages all out of school youth and out of school adult to enroll for the coming academic year for the alternative learning system.
