A WOMAN was injured in a fire which destroyed 15 houses and damaged four others in Purok Marapara Zone 2, Barangay Bata, Bacolod City Tuesday morning, April 2.
Carmelita Tornos sustained minor burns on both of her arms when she returned to their burning house to check if her children already went out.
A dog from one of the affected houses died in the fire.
According to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), the fire broke out at 11:18 a.m.
The fire was put out after an hour.
Arson investigators have yet to determine the cause of fire but initially said it was due to faulty electrical wiring.
Cost of damage was pegged at P200,000. (GYM)
