TWO of the most wanted persons in Zamboanga City were arrested Wednesday afternoon, April 3.
Ustadz Arastam Marasain, 51, is listed as the Top 1 most wanted person, while Faujan Marasain, 18, is the second most wanted person.
Police Brigadier General Emmanuel Luis Licup, director of Police Regional Office in Zamboanga Peninsula (PRO-9), said both were served a warrant of arrest for murder at around 1:10 p.m. Wednesday in the village of Cabatangan.
No bail was recommended. The warrant was issued by the local court on June 15, 2015.
Licup said a .38 caliber revolver with four live ammunition was confiscated from the possession of the older Marasain.
The two are detained at the headquarters of the Zamboanga City Police Office (ZCPO). (Bong Garcia)
