FORMER Davao City vice mayor Paolo “Pulong” Duterte has tagged Senator Antonio Trillanes IV as the mastermind behind a video clip accusing him of involvement in the illegal drug trade.

In an official statement released Thursday, April 4, the presidential son said he will file another case against Trillanes for ruining his reputation.

"He may deny it, but the video supposedly showing my involvement in the illegal drug trade in the country has been clearly stamped with the indelible Trillanes signature of being a desperate mercenary, one who has done nothing good but attack the government," Duterte said.

The six-minute video, called "Totoong Narco List", has been circulated on social media since April 3.

A certain “Bikoy” (not his real name) claimed in the video that he was a former member of a drug syndicate operating in Southern Luzon and Visayas. He said his primary job was to record the syndicate’s transactions.

He said he left the syndicate to begin a new life and he has been receiving threats since then.

“Bikoy” showed an internal document called “tara,” or grease money, which records how much money is allotted for leader in the document.

He said he has a copy of the syndicate’s tara since 2010.

The tara, he added, contains the code name of the principal, the account number and the amount deposited in the account.

“Bikoy” said a syndicate’s leader with codename "Polo Delta G01" and "Alpha Tierra-0029" received P25 million or P20 million in four tranches.

He said the code names refer to Paolo Duterte. He also showed documents showing that the bank account is under the name of Waldo Carpio, a Department of Agriculture (DA) undersecretary and brother of Manases Carpio.

Manases is the husband of Davao City Mayor Sara Z. Duterte-Carpio, who is Paolo's sister.

He also showed bank records showing the transfer of P170 million and P120 million from Carpio’s bank account to an international bank account under Paolo’s name.

“Bikoy” also repeated a claim made by Trillanes that Paolo Duterte has a dragon tattoo on his back with his codename "Alpha Tierra 0029".

Paolo, in a Facebook post on Wednesday, April 3, blamed a person with the initials J.S. as behind the YouTube video, which was uploaded Tuesday, April 2.

He denied the allegations made in the video through his official Facebook page on Thursday.

He then lashed out a certain J.S., for tagging him in the said video documentary.

"Wow ha kung makaimbento ka wagas. Galit ka kay Waldo kasi binabara niya lahat ng smuggling mo ng bigas at asukal diba J. S. Galit ka sa akin kasi di kita pinansin sa eroplano kasi hambog ka! (Wow, you’re so good at inventing. You’re mad at Waldo because he is blocking your rice and sugar smuggling activities. Right J.S? You’re mad at me because I snubbed you on a flight because you’re so arrogant)," Duterte stated.

Waldo was also mentioned in the video as being part of the supposed illegal drug ring.

He added that his dragon tattoo is "PD 92112."

"O yan, research ka ulit! Pak You mo pa si Trililling ha. Pag-**** nalang dong, sunda imo idol nga bayot nga si J.P.," he said.

The President's son, who is running for Davao City First District representative in the May 13 elections, has been implicated in illegal drugs smuggling, but has denied such allegations. (Ralph Lawrence G. Llemit with Sunstar Philippines)
