DHVSU to unveil wall of excellence for achievers

THE Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) will unveil this week an “excellence wall” that honors the achievements of its graduates in the past board and licensure examinations.

The project aims to memorialize the achievements of students and to encourage the culture of achievement and excellence. The latest project is part of the state university’s brand prep-up.

Recently, DHVSU has formally adopted the use of a new logo in line with President Rodrigo Duterte’s recent signing of Republic Act (RA) 11169 which elevated the technological school into a comprehensive state university.

The school said that this is in line with the change in nomenclature of the institution. The DHVSU administration has implemented the use of the new university logo starting March 27. The new logo was approved by a committee chaired by the office of the vice president for academic affairs.

Aside from renaming the institution, its charter was amended. The DHVSU will now be able to offer new courses in the fields of liberal arts, legal management, law, medicine, allied sciences, and health-related programs in the near future.

Under Section 3 of RA 9832, the university offered courses limited to education, engineering, science and technology, arts and humanities, computer education and other programs within its areas of specialization and capabilities.
