STO. TOMAS Congressional candidate Ricardo Yabut said that he will use his legislative influence as well lobby for government support, if given a chance to be elected as representative, to build dialysis and diagnostic centers in Pampanga’s fourth district.
Yabut said that this is to address the need for more sustainable health services for residents.
He added that the presence of such facilities will greatly improve the lives of patients and their families as well as provide ready access to services for people in poor communities.
“With treatment centers in place, we can provide affordable and even free dialysis treatment and kidney care services to indigent patients in the fourth district. Patients would not need to beg for financial support from politicians each time they need treatment,” Yabut added.
Yabut is also keen on the establishment of diagnostic centers that can provide early disease detection for patients.
“Poor people would not go out of their way to have themselves checked regularly because the whole process is expensive. Simple ailments become worse overtime because of the lack of medical attention. With diagnostic centers, our constituents can easily have access to services,” Yabut added.
Yabut also pledged to enact laws that will further boost support for health awareness with accompanying support programs.
Yabut vowed to continue social programs and file laws for out-of-school youth to give them more access to education.
Yabut was a former three-term board member and consistently earned the highest number of votes.
As provincial legislator, Yabut was one of the top performing board members in the province. His legislative agenda focused on environment, education, health, and infrastructure.
He is considered among the leading political figures in the fourth district and among the most visible.
Yabut is an active member and former president of the Rotary Club of Central Pampanga, Manila Lingkod Bayan Lions Club and other non-government groups in the province.
