Power interruption in CdeO announced

THE Cagayan Electric Power and Light Company (Cepalco) has announced that it will cut power for one to two hours on April 7 and 8.

In an advisory, the city's power distribution utility said the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines will conduct load transfer activity at Tagoloan substation which will result to temporary power interruption.

Cepalco said to make use of the interruption. It will facilitate a system re-configuration of the Kirahon-Tagoloan line and Tagoloan-Tablon line 2 and hotspot correction work of automatic circuit re-closer in Sta. Cruz, Tagoloan.

Interruption time will start at 5 a.m. to 6 a.m. on April 7 and 5 a.m. to 5:30 a.m. on April 8.

Affected areas include portion along Tagoloan old road from Cepalco district office down to Casinglot, Tagoloan, all the barangays of Bugo, Puerto, Upper Puerto to Alae area, Agusan and Balubal area, Tablon up to General Milling including Sapong and Palalan; and Firstgen HEP, Global Agro and Menzi-Agri of NGCP 34.5KV Damilag line.

Another interruption is scheduled at 5 a.m. to 7 a.m. on April 7 and 5 a.m. to 5:30 a.m.

Areas affected include portion of Natumulan, greater part of Tagoloan Proper, all the barangays of Baluarte, Pulot, Sugbongcogon and Gracia, Tagoloan, PACCO/Vicmar area up to Kibulda; from back of Tagoloan convent including St. Mary's School to Siayon, Tagoloan, all the barangays of Sta. Cruz, Mohon, Sta. Ana including Sitio Sto.Rosario, Centro San Martin, Villanueva up to Solane, Pilipinas Shell including Kirahon Resettlement area and KSEC PV Plant.

Cepalco said it will restore power immediately after line and switching works are completed.
