In a dramatic fight, Evsu Eagles managed to sustain their prowess against SSU in a double overtime until they took the lead in the final stretch, 82-82, 93-93, 107-104.

Lacaba disclosed that their future plan is to have women’s volleyball aside from the basketball games.

“Probably around September, but we’ll follow the new calendar of the schools. While the basketball season 2 will be in early February, at the start of second semester,” said Lacabda.

He said they “will probably accommodate” the private schools in the region for both volleyball and basketball games in the next season.

Evcaa Season 1 partners include PRTV Tacloban for the live coverage, Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP) as officiating team, Reptours Express vans, KBox Studios Tacloban, and Tingog party-list.
