LIGHT to moderate rains are expected in Cebu on Monday, April 8, and Tuesday, April 9.
Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) Visayas officer-in-charge Al Quiblat said the low pressure area off Mindanao disappeared and has become a cluster of clouds.
The cloud clusters were found 700 kilometers off the southeastern Mindanao.
This is one of the reasons Cebu and other parts of the Visayas will experience rain. The other reason is the easterlies, a wind that blows from the east.
