GOVERNMENT forces arrested in an intelligence-driven manhunt operation one of the most wanted persons in the province of Zamboanga del Norte.
The Zamboanga del Norte Provincial Police Office identified the arrested suspect as William Bodiongan, 50, who carries the aliases of Alfredo and Al.
Bodiongan was nabbed around 2:45 p.m. Saturday, April 6, at the cockpit of Poblacion village, Sinacaban, Misamis Occidental.
He has been listed as the number six most wanted person in Polanco, Zamboanga del Norte, and has a standing warrant of arrest for the crime of rape and acts of lasciviousness in relation to Republic Act 7610, otherwise known as the Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act issued by the court of Dipolog City.
Police said Bodiongan was detained at Sinacaban Municipal Police Station for proper disposition. He will be brought to Polanco, Zamboanga del Norte for eventual turnover to court authorities. (SunStar Philippines)
