‘Big time’ drug pusher caught with P500,000 shabu in Dipolog

AN ALLEGED big-time drug pusher was caught with P500,000 worth of shabu, or methamphetamine hydrochloride, in a drug bust in Dipolog City on Monday, April 8.

Fredrick Reyes alias Barok, 43, was collared around 4 p.m. Monday in the village of Miputak in Dipolog City, Zamboanga del Norte.

Police Major Helen Galvez, Police Regional Office-Zamboanga Peninsula information officer, said Reyes was caught in possession of suspected shabu packed in 10 large and seven small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets.

Police also confiscated the following from Reyes: P500 marked money,

P2,500 proceeds consisting of five P500 bills, a cellular phone, and a pack of cigarettes.

Galvez said the drug bust was launched after Reyes was put under surveillance. (Bong Garcia)
