‘Songs of Summer’ this year: Two venues, twice the fun

“SONGS of Summer” is back!

In partnership with Ayala Malls, 22 Tango Records’ “Songs of Summer” comes back for its fifth year with a major expansion. This time around, one can catch his favorite homegrown artists in two separate venues. Aside from the usual Ayala Center Cebu setting, “Songs of Summer” has a new site at Central Bloc in Cebu IT Park.

“Songs of Summer” started out as an intimate weekly folk fest that now grew into a bigger music show that caters to a wider pool of music genres. The music series runs from April 10 to May 25, with 20 different artists on the roster: J Russ x DT, Mampor & Me, The Vast, Vincent Eco, Mary Anchit, Lourdes Maglinte, Oh Caraga, Intertwined, Route 83, Bethany, The Labrats, Jerika Teodorico, Mandaue Nights, Sepia Times, Thinking Chair, Duende, Wonggoys, Mother Folker, Ella Melendez and Three Legged Men.

Catch the music fest Wednesdays at The Terraces in Ayala Center Cebu on April 10, 17, 24 and May 1, 8,15 and 22. Fill the weekends with the same energy by dropping by Saturdays at Central Bloc in Cebu IT Park on May 4, 11, 18 and 25. (PR)
