TWO persons were killed in a stabbing incident by unidentified suspects in Barangay Tabun, Mabalacat City, Pampanga on Monday, April 8.
Police Colonel Jean Fajardo, Pampanga Police acting provincial director, identified the fatalities as Carmencita Pelayo, 32, and Karen Guevarra, 32, both residents of Barangay Tabun of said city.
The report said a certain Rachelle Alabado, a companion of the victims, told police that the suspect entered their rented house where she was mauled by the latter.
She told police that she pretended to be unconscious while her companions were stabbed by the suspect, the report said.
The victims were taken to a nearby hospital but did not make it alive due to multiple stab wounds in different parts of their body, the report said.
Fajardo ordered the Mabalacat City police to identify and possibly arrest the suspect.
Police are still investigating the motive of the stabbing incident. (Ric Sapnu)
