FOR quite a while now, Julia Montes has been the subject of pregnancy rumors. It appears that the issue has no chance of dying.
According to speculations, her fellow Kapamilya star Coco Martin is the supposed father of her baby. There have been reports, too, claiming that the rumored couple is the subject of numerous blind items.
Amid this, there has been no confirmation from both camps. They have remained mum about the rumors. In fact, their rumored relationship alone has never been confirmed as well.
Back in 2012, rumors about their growing romance began. The 24-year-old actress and 37-year-old actor were said to have been smitten with each other when they worked for the teleserye “Walang Hanggan.” Since then, rumors never left them anymore, until the netizens were shocked to read something about her rumored pregnancy.
The last time she was seen on TV was when she did the afternoon soap “Asintado” last year. However, when it was finally over in October, the actress suddenly left the limelight. It was learned that she went to her father in Germany.
Gave birth?
According to Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP), the rumor mill claimed that she gave birth during the latter part of March. And based on what several stories have shared, she reportedly gave birth at Cardinal Santos Medical Center in San Juan City. These are still rumors, though. For as long as none of them admits about it, we are still unsure of the real score.
Fans react
Commenting on the PEP article, fans shared their thoughts about the issue.
“Hindi naman forever maitatago nila iyan. Totoo daw na nanganak si Julia sa Cardinal Santos at si Coco Martin ang tatay. May nakakita kay Julia nang araw na nanganak siya sa hospital,” Belen Gomez wrote.
“Kapal ng mukha ni Coco. This is not the way to treat a woman. Boycott yang probinsyano na yan,” Caryn Cruz commented.
For Angela Curtis, “It’s called privacy. Not everyone wants their baby in the limelight, especially with how the media and social media are these days.”
Meanwhile, someone surmised that it could be another case of Richard Gutierrez and Sarah Lahbati. It can be recalled that the couple never admitted right away that the actress was already pregnant with their first child when she left the showbusiness world and went abroad.
In January this year, Cornerstone Management, the one that manages Julia’s career, gave a statement about the unending rumors through ABS-CBN.
“She’s in Germany with her dad... She heard about [the rumor] and we called her... pero hindi talaga totoo,” Erickson Raymundo said in a text message.
