“CORDILLERA cuisine’s time has come. Tourism nowadays is immersive. People want to experience everything. Tourism should be sensory. A feast for the eye. You feel it. You see it. Most important is you taste it. Food is the center of our culture. We must give it a chance.” - Marie Venus Tan, COO Tourism Promotions Board.

The Department of Tourism in partnership with the Tourism Promotions Board, Department of Agriculture, and the City of Baguio recently held “The Cordillera Food Fair: Mangan Taku” last April 8 at the Rose Garden Burnham Park.

Representing the City was Mayor Mauricio Domogan, Councior Elmer Datuin and Jovita Ganongan (OIC DOT CAR) who presented and acknowledged the participants from Abra, Apayao, Baguio City, Benguet, Ifugao, Kalinga and Mt. Province. The master of ceremonies was Russell de Guzman.
