THE Salazar College of Science and Institute Technology (SCSIT)-Cebu City batters bagged two silver medals in the Little League Philippines Series Visayas Elimination in Dumaguete City.
SCSIT finished with a silver medal in the 13-14 division after losing to Anilao, 6-3, in the Junior baseball championship match on Saturday, April 13.
SCSIT settled for another silver medal in the softball senior league after bowing to Bacolod, 5-1, in the championship match. The senior league was for players aged 14 to 16.
The top three teams in the tournament clinched a slot in the Little League Philippines National Finals on May 16 to 26 in Koronadal City.
The qualifying round was joined by teams from Anilao, Bayawan City, Dumaguete City, Iloilo Province, Iloilo City, Cebu Province, Negros Occidental and City of Naga. RSC
