GREEN Bounty Kitchen at SM Lanang Premier has slowly become a favorite of many Dabawenyos for the reasonably priced healthy meals. Some of their regulars have been wishing that they put up another branch in the south of Davao City.
On March 21, 2019, the Green Bounty Kitchen opened its SM City Davao branch to the delight of their regular clients and some new clients in the south. They now have more options for those looking for a delicious and healthier meal.
I have been a fan of their meals since they opened. I was really excited to try the new dishes they have to offer at the new branch.
A few weeks ago, I had the chance to have lunch here. I ordered the Classic Davao Organic Chicken Adobo (P165) and the All Day Pork Steak and Eggs (P240). I had the Pomelo Calamansi juice (P70) to go with my meal.
I loved their chicken adobo. I find it to be really good. The chicken I had was also tender and juicy for a native chicken.
I then had the Pork Steak and Eggs after the adobo. It was just ok. While the pork was tasty, it was tough. But I did like the salsa and honey mustard sauce that came with it.
The Pomelo Calamsi juice was too sweet. I hope they could lessen the sugar.
I have to make special mention to their Crispy Sweet and Sour Tofu, which I had during the opening of the store. I find this to be really good. I am not a big fan of tofu (except when it is taho) but this meal, I can order it on a regular basis here. I just love how spicy the dish it and how flavorful the sauce was.
