ANTI-NARCOTIC agents have arrested a Top 9 High-Value Target drug personality and seized some P250,000 worth of suspected shabu in an anti-drug operation in Dipolog City, Zamboanga del Norte, a top police official announced Sunday, April 14.
Police Brigadier General Emmanuel Luis Licup, Police Regional Office-Zamboanga Peninsula director, identified the arrested suspect as Richie Saycon Sultan alias Archie Sultan 26, a resident of Purok 8 in the village of Biason, Dipolog City.
Licup said Sultan was arrested by joint policemen and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) operatives in a drug bust operation around 11:26 p.m., Saturday, at Purok Malayan 1 in the village of Sta. Filomena, Dipolog City.
Licup said Sultan was caught in possession some P250,000 worth of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride, locally known as “shabu,” packed in five large and four small sizes heat-sealed plastic sachets, P500 marked money, and a cellular phone.
He said the suspect was detained pending the filing of appropriate charges against him. (SunStar Philippines)
